Your future role

• Start the cutting table, select the material and the programs to use

• Operate the cutting table and collect the pieces and scraps at the output.

• Check the quality of the cut or bent parts and make any necessary adjustments.

• Sort the cut pieces on the appropriate tables and place the scraps in the recycling bins.

• Start the press brake and prepare the necessary tools according to the material and thickness of the bend.

• Program the press brake with the part code

• Change the tools according to the thickness of the material and monitor its proper functioning

• Examine the quality of the bent pieces using a square.

Required skills

• Vocational diploma in metallurgy – an asset

• Proficiency in using numerically controlled equipment – ​​an asset
