JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our job shop manufacturing team. The CNC operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to produce Precision parts in low dash to medium – volume, high – mix production. This role requires adaptability, strong blueprint – reading skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.
KEY Responsibilities:

Set up an operate CNC machines (Mills, lathes, Or multi – axis machines) According to work orders in blueprints

Load programs, set Tooling, Offsets, and fixtures as required

Performed first – article inspections, and – process checks using precision, measuring tools

Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, And job travelers

Make minor program edits and offset adjustments to maintain part quality

Monitor machine, performance and troubleshoot basic machining issues

Maintain tight tolerance and meet quality standards

Document production, data, inspections, and non-– conformances

Perform routine Machine, maintenance and keep work area, clean and organized

Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures

Collaborate with programmers, machinist, and supervisors to improve processes
Required qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED
-
1-3+ years of CNC Operating experience in a job shop Or similar environment

Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
-
Proficient with measuring tools(Calibers, micrometers, height, gauges, indicators)

Experience with CNC Mills, and/Or lathes

Strong attention to detail and quality

Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs

Basic computer skills
Prefer preferred qualifications

Technical or trade, school training and machining or manufacturing

Experience with multiple materials(Steel, aluminum, stainless, plastics)

Familiar with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak or similar controls

Set up experience in light troubleshooting capability
Physical Requirements

Schedule & Pay
-
$15-$20 per hour DOE
Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday – 7am – 3:30 pm

Drug Screening and Background Check will be Required
