JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced CNC programmer with strong Mastercam Skills to support our job shop manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for programming, optimizing, and supporting CNC machining processes for high – mix, low – to medium – volume production environment. The ideal candidate is hands – on, detailed – oriented, and comfortable working closely with machinist and operators on the shop floor.
KEY Responsibilities:

Program CNC Mills and/or lathes using Mastecam.

Develop efficient, machining strategies, including toolpaths, speeds, and feeds.

Interpret blueprints, solid models, and GD&T requirements.

Support machine set up, prove–outs, and first– article production

Troubleshoot machining and programming issues on the shop floor

Optimize cycle times, tool, life, and part quality

Select tooling, fixtures, and work holding solution solutions

Maintain program, documentation, revisions, and backups

Collaborate with machinists, Operators, engineering, and quality

Follow all safety and quality procedures
Required qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED(Technical degree or certification preferred)

3+ years of CNC programming experience in a job shop environment

Proficient in Mastercam (Mill And/Or Lathe)

Strong blueprint, reading, and GD&T Interpretation skills

Solid understanding of machining processes and cutting tools

Experience with CNC controls such as Haas, Fanuc, Or similar

Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs
Prefer preferred qualifications

Experience with four – axis or five-axis programming
-
Hands dash on machining or set up experience

Experience with Multiple materials (Aluminum, steel, stainless, plastics)

Familiarity with ISO, AS9100, or other quality systems

Experience with fixture design and process planning
Physical Requirements

Ability to work on the shop floor is needed

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk long period of time

Must pass a Background & Drug Screen

Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday – 7am – 3:30 pm
$21 – $30 DOE
Drug Screening and Background Check will be Required
Steel Toe Boots Required
