CNC Operator – Evening Shift (CNC Plasma)

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and optimizing a CNC Plasma machine to ensure efficient, safe production that meets quality standards.
Main responsibilities – CNC Operator:

Read and interpret technical plans and drawings

Understanding and applying G and M codes

Install, position and align the steel plates on the cutting table

Adjust the cutting parameters according to the specifications
-
Detect and correct execution or programming errors
-
Perform self-inspection of the produced parts (quality control)

Remove the cut pieces and sort them efficiently to facilitate deburring (grinding).

Dispose of the scraps safely and in an organized manner
-
Inspect the raw material before production
-
Maintain a clean, tidy workspace that complies with health and safety standards.

Perform basic maintenance on the CNC Plasma machine

Perform advanced diagnostics in case of a shutdown or malfunction

Participate in certain advanced maintenance interventions

Contribute to continuous improvement (PVA, just-in-time, tact time, etc.)

Achieve daily production targets

To be able to guide and demonstrate the operation of the Plasma CNC to other employees
We are looking for a reliable and experienced candidate who can perform in a hot and fast-paced production environment.
Desired profile – CNC Operator:

Previous experience in operating numerically controlled (CNC) machines

DEP or relevant experience related to the position

Good ability to use and interpret measuring instruments

Ability to read and modify a machine program
-
Ability to safely handle steel plates, heavy parts and offcuts

Certification or training as a slinger (mandatory)

Problem-solving skills and autonomy
-
Successful completion of the theoretical and practical exam is required.
