Job Summary
Reporting to the Production Manager, the CNC Operator is responsible for operating CNC lathes to machine simple parts in high-volume production, following established quality procedures. Throughout the production process, they must ensure traceability and compliance. They will also be involved in continuous improvement activities.

A DEP diploma in machining or equivalent and/or significant experience in the machining or manufacturing field will be a considerable asset;

Tasks and responsibilities

Operate a CNC lathe, manufacture parts according to customer orders;

Verify the dimensions and quality inspection criteria of machined parts using measuring instruments (calipers, scales, radius gauge, etc.) following customer-specific manufacturing guidelines;

Complete the production and packaging reports and signify approval regarding the conformity of the production;

Identify any deviations from specifications and tolerances and correct the deviation;

Participate in continuous improvement efforts and strive to always improve working methods and ways of doing things in your department.

Participate in the training and integration of newly hired employees into their positions;

Salary: Between $19.74 and $29.62 per hour, depending on the experience and skills of the successful candidate.
