Pay & Working Hours

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 06:45 – 16:30 (37 hours per week; 4-day week)
Key Responsibilities

Set and operate a variety of CNC and manual machines, including specialized grinders (e.g., Wickman Scrivener, Ghiringhelli, Cincinnati, Tschudin).

Perform first-off and in-process quality inspections using micrometers and gauges to maintain tight aerospace tolerances.

Support secondary operations as needed (drilling, thread rolling, deburring, marking).

Minimize scrap and rework while meeting production targets and health & safety standards.
Requirements & Experience

Skills: Proven experience setting/operating CNC and manual mills, lathes, and grinders. Ability to read engineering drawings.

Preferred: Grinding experience and an aerospace background (willingness to learn grinding is accepted for candidates with strong foundational skills).
