Pay & Working Hours

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (DOE)

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 37 hours per week (4-day week)
Key Responsibilities
-
Set and operate CNC/manual mills, lathes, and specialized grinders (Wickman Scrivener, Ghiringhelli, Cincinnati, Tschudin).

Perform first-off and in-process quality inspections with precision measuring tools (micrometers, gauges).

Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce precision components to tight tolerances.

Support secondary processes: thread rolling, deburring, drilling, and marking.
Requirements & Experience
-
Proven background as a CNC Setter, Operator, or Machinist in precision engineering (Aerospace advantageous).

Strong drawing interpretation and measuring skills.
-
Grinding experience preferred, but full training is provided for the right candidate.

Eligibility: Must have existing legal right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship provided).
